Recently a delegation from the City of Düsseldorf visited Portland to talk about a partnership between the two cities. During the visit the two “cities” realized that they have many things in common: similar size and population numbers, each has a major river, parallels in the makeup of trade and industries. Hopefully this first visit will lead to a partnership in the future.
